The MLM genealogy list are names of existing network marketers who are active and those that are not active which is 95% of them. I have heard it over and over again that these leads are a scam. I’m not curtain they are a scam, but what I know for sure is that they are not very fresh leads. These leads do know what MLM is. But with that said they are not the most responsive leads to used to build your business.

Take a good look at yourself and picture this for a minute. Somebody buys a MLM genealogy list and it has your name on it. Then out of the clear blue sky, you get a phone call from a person trying to recruit you into their business. But your already in a business. How responsive do you think you would be to that phone call? What would happen next is the both of you would attempt to recruit one another. Does that sound like fun or effective to you?

This is a serious issue that effects all network marketers and direct sales professionals. I remember when I was told to make a list of family and friends to promote my business to back in the day. I blew throught that list real quick considering it was only 24 people long. This is when I hit my first brick wall. I asked myself, now what do I do? You see I ran out of people to show my business to. However what I believe to be one of the most important skill sets to have as a leader is the ability to hold one’s self accountable for the actions they must take to product the desired results in their business. A leader takes responsibility for the failures and successes in their business.

It’s not the upline or coaches responsibility to make the persons business successful. Although many believe that’s their role. Of course having a great coach or upline that mentors you in getting actual results is important. But at the end of the day it’s one’s own actions that will dictate the speed of success.

MLM training is a must if you want to become profitable in your business. However there is a lot of people who provide quality mlm training on the Internet. So how do you know if you have the right person to mentor you to success? Simply do your research. Use Google to search them out and learn about them and more importantly see what others are saying. However don’t take what others say to heart especially if you come across a few negative comments. There are many people who get great mlm training by great mentors but just never take action in  their business and blame the person they received training from.

MLM is a marketing business and marketing is what you must learn to produce more profits in your business much quicker.

Were talking about learning the most cutting edge skills like, who are the right people to promote your business to. Learning who to talk to about your business is what network marketers struggle with out the gate. How to use tools and systems to prospect your leads for you so you only speak with the most qualified. Picking up the phone and calling dead beat business opportunity leads one at a time will put you in the poor house.
